Getting Started

Onboarding overview

The onboarding process helps you quickly understand and use Content Optimization effectively. A dedicated Customer Success Manager (CSM) guides you through the setup, provides training, and assists in developing a strategy tailored to your business goals. The process typically includes the following steps:

  1. Account Hand-off and Welcome: After you sign on, your account is transitioned to the Conductor team by your Acquia Account Manager (AM). You then receive a welcome email that contains an onboarding survey. The survey helps the account team understand your search goals and how you currently use search.
  2. Kickoff Call: Once the hand-off is complete, a kickoff call is scheduled. The purpose of the call is to align you with what to expect during the onboarding process and introduces you to your Acquia account team.
  3. Drupal Module Installation: You are required to install the Drupal module on your site. A one-page guide is provided to help you with the installation steps.
  4. Technical Discovery Call: Following the kickoff, a more in-depth technical discovery call takes place. The Acquia team works with you to design your SEO experience to align with your specific goals. A key output of this call is the creation of a design account architecture schema, which is a diagram that shows how certain search terms relate and how they should be prioritized within your own ecosystem.
  5. Jobs-to-be-done Training: After the technical discovery call, you go through a series of jobs-to-be-done training sessions led by Acquia's CSMs. The training focuses on specific, actionable tasks, teaching you the necessary skills within the Conductor system to complete a job.
  6. Account Setup and Configuration: While you are in training, the Acquia team logs in and sets up your SEO within the platform. The team is responsible for tasks like keyword setup, configuration, and creating keyword groups on your behalf.
  7. Onboarding Completion: Onboarding is considered complete once both the trainings and the account setup are finished. At this point, everyone signs off, confirming that everything is working as expected and you have been trained on the basic skills you need to use the platform.
