Manual discovery

This page describes how to find syndicated content using the content discovery user interface in Acquia Content Hub, and manually import the content to a subscriber site.

Prerequisites

  1. Create and set up a subscriber site. See Creating a subscribing website for more information.
  2. Enable the Acquia Content Hub Curation module, which enables the discovery user interface.
  3. Navigate to Manage > Content > Acquia Content Hub to visit the Acquia Content Hub page.

Next, you must search for relevant content.

Searching for content

Find content for manual import using one of the following methods:

  • Specify keyword values in the search input: Search for content with full or partial title matches using this technique.
  • Specify individual values for Created date, Source, Tag, Type or Bundle inputs.
  • Use a predefined filter: Click a filter which corresponds to your search criteria. If the result isn’t narrow enough, refine it by changing an individual value for Created date, Source, Tag, Type and Bundle inputs to reduce the final list of results. How to import content

Once you’ve applied the necessary search criteria, complete the following steps to import content:

  1. Select one or more items from the result list.

  2. Click Import to site: X items button to add selected items to the Import queue, where``X`` is the total number of selected items.

  3. To run the Import queue manually, go to Manage >> Configuration >> Web Services >> Acquia Content Hub >> Import and click Run import queue.

    Wait until the operation finishes.

  4. Once the import finishes, (if you want to ensure the required content imports) you can visit Manage > Content page - all imported items should display there.
