Managing connected sites

To manage your connected sites, you can do the following actions:

Description

Adding a new publisher or subscriber

Install and configure Content Hub on a Drupal site and set it as publisher or subscriber.

Pausing syndication to a subscriber

Disable content updates from syndicating to a paused subscriber site without disconnecting the subscriber.

Disconnecting a publisher or subscriber

Remove the site from Content Hub if it is not required for syndication.

Staging down publishers and subscribers

Follow the best practices when using Acquia Cloud features for copying databases between environments.

Viewing details about a publisher or subscriber

View all connected sites on your Content Hub account and drill down for more information about each site.

Viewing the interest list of a publisher or subscriber

View the interest list to identify what is syndicated to a connected site, along with the timestamp of the last syndication.

This section is applicable to Content Hub 3.3.0 and later.

The Connected Sites page in Publisher’s Dashboard displays the following information about each site connected to Content Hub:

  • Content Hub client site name

  • Content Hub module version

  • Site role indicating whether the site is publisher, subscriber, or both

  • Site health status as determined by the Content Hub service

  • Registered webhook URL for the site

  • Last synchronization timestamp with the Content Hub service

Viewing details about connected sites

To access additional details about connected sites, select View Client Details.

Client Details

The Client Details page displays the following site information:

  • Content Hub module version

  • Drupal core version

  • Site role indicating whether the site is publisher, subscriber, or both

  • Site health status as determined by the Content Hub service

  • Last synchronization timestamp with the Content Hub service

  • Client UUID, which is a unique identifier used by the Content Hub service to identify the connected site

  • Webhook UUID, which is a unique identifier used by the Content Hub service to identify the webhook for the connected site

  • Registered webhook URL for the site

  • Toggle switch to control webhook delivery

To access the raw Client Common Data Format (CDF), click the View Client CDF link located in the upper-right of the Client Details page.

Interest List

The site displays the Interest List section in a tabular format. This section provides options to filter and sort columns. In addition, it displays the syndication status of each entity.

Each entity has a toggle switch available to control manual syndication on the subscriber’s interest list.
