Google Chrome is blocking third-party cookies unless they are allowlisted

As a precautionary security measure, your IT team may block third-party cookies in Google Chrome and only allow cookies from certain allowlisted domains. You can resolve this by allowlisting third-party cookies from looker.com by using the following steps:

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Click Privacy and security > Third-party cookies.
  3. Select Allow third-party cookies.
  4. In the Allowed to use third-party cookies section, click Add.

The browser displays the Add a site dialog box.

  5. In Site, add [*.]looker.com.
  6. Restart Google Chrome.

Safari browser is preventing cross-site tracking

  1. Open Safari.
  2. On the top menu bar, click Safari > Preferences > Privacy.
  3. Clear the Prevent cross-site tracking checkbox.
