sFTP Storage

When you create a segment in Customer Data Platform (CDP) Actions, you can send the output to an sFTP location. You can add new sFTP locations and also change the parameters of the sFTP output connector.

Create a new sFTP

To add a new sFTP connector, send a request to Support or ask your CDP Customer Success Manager with the following information:

  • Connector name (e.g. “sFTP - Monetate”)
  • host (e.g.
  • username
  • password
  • IP to allowlist if applicable

Alternatively, you can use a key-based authentication instead of a password based authentication. In such a case, you need to provide CDP with a private .pem SSH key. The keys should be created without any passphrase.

Update the parameters to an existing connector

There are some parameters that you can change by sending a request to support. Be aware that the changes will apply to all files exported to that connector going forward.
