Acquia CDP

Google Analytics 4 - Allowing CDP to access your account

To allow CDP to access your account:

  1. Log in to your Google Analytics 4 account.

  2. Switch to the required Google Analytics account and select the Google Analytics property from this account.

Ensure that you make a note of the Property Id of the current property.

  3. Click Admin.

Ensure that you have admin access for the property.

  4. Verify the selected Google Analytics account and Google Analytics property.

  5. Click Property Access Management.

  6. To add a new user, click the plus icon and select Add Users.

  7. To create Acquia’s Google Analytics user, enter the email address of Acquia’s Google Analytics user in Email addresses.

Use the following email addresses for your current production accounts:

    • For CDP-Production, use google-analytics-4-prod@api-project-522475697524.agilone.com.iam.gserviceaccount.com.

    • For CDP-Webtag, use [email protected].

It allows CDP to access the UI for reconciliation.

Depending on your integration setup needs with CDP, you can allow a new sandbox user to do further Google tests with CDP. If you have an active UAT or CS environment provisioned with CDP that utilizes Google Analytics, only add the user to your Google Sandbox account.

If you have a sandbox account, you can add the following user name and email address:

    • For CDP-Sandbox (optional), add google-analytics-4-cs@api-project-522475697524.agilone.com.iam.gserviceaccount.com.

  8. Assign the Viewer role to the user.

  9. Click Add.

  10. Verify that both email addresses are successfully added with the role as Viewer.

  11. Create a Support ticket and share the current or new Property Id from Step 2, so that Acquia can track the relevant analytics data.
