360 Profiles are records of customers in your database. These 'person' records, ingested into Customer Data Platform (CDP), are displayed in the user interface with all available information based on deduplicated records from various sources, ingested attributes, calculated data, and machine learning model scores.

Capabilities

• Records Search: Offers a user-friendly UI for quick profile (glossary term, activate to view definition) searches by email, name, phone number, address, ZIP code, country, or customer number.

• Record Erasure: Provides the ability to directly initiate data erasure requests from the record identities.

• Records Reconciliation View: Provides an option to view individual reconciliation record information in detail across separate tabs, including Overview, Profiles, Journey, Transaction, Machine this Learning, Identities, and Household. 

• Records Visualization: Provides an option to view event records from the customer journey in near-real time within the UI, enabling you to perform sample tests through the API. Real-time processing must be available for the tenant, otherwise the records only update during the daily data refresh.

Use Cases

• Marketers want to search and easily obtain a comprehensive view of a unified customer profile, displaying key insights into their information, behavioral journey, interactive events, and purchase patterns, as well as any chosen ML models for better predictions or recommendations, all through an intuitive UI. 

• Data engineers want to perform preliminary record identification to assist in troubleshooting data issues, such as a quick view of values not populating correctly. They also need to visually inspect the relationships between data records from various child levels to the master customer level and identify various source systems for each child record. Furthermore, they seek to perform API integration tests to monitor real-time event data within an easy-to-use UI.

• Governance and Compliance officers need to quickly respond to consumer privacy laws by acting immediately on removal requests. This includes anonymizing customer data through an intuitive UI to ensure compliance with consumer protection laws.

Important Considerations

• UI Functionality: The 360 Profiles UI is view-only, with no options to create, edit, or export records.

• Deletion: The only interactive feature is the ability to delete identities; all other actions are restricted.

• Custom Attributes (CDP Studio): Currently, the 360 Profiles UI does not support custom attributes.
