Data engineers who plan to integrate Google Analytics 4 data with Customer Data Platform must refer to the following instructions.

To allow CDP to access your account:

1. Log in to your Google Analytics 4 account.

2. Switch to the required Google Analytics account and select the Google Analytics property from this account.

   Ensure that you make a note of the Property Id of the current property.

   

3. Click Admin.

   Ensure that you have admin access for the property.

4. Click Property Access Management.

   
5. To add a new user, click the plus icon and select Add Users.

6. To create Acquia’s Google Analytics user, enter their email address in the Email addresses field.

   1. For all accounts, add [email protected]. 

      Adding the CDP Google Analytics User allows CDP to access the UI for reconciliation.

   2. For CDP-Production, add google-analytics-4-prod@api-project-522475697524.agilone.com.iam.gserviceaccount.com.

      Depending on your integration setup needs with CDP, you can authorize a new sandbox user to conduct further Google tests. If you have an active UAT or CS environment provisioned with CDP using Google Analytics, add the user only to your Google Sandbox account.

   3. For CDP-Sandbox (optional), add google-analytics-4-cs@api-project-522475697524.agilone.com.iam.gserviceaccount.com.
   

7. Assign the Viewer role to the user.

   
8. Click Add.
9. Verify that both email addresses are successfully added with the role as Viewer.
10. Create a Support ticket and share the current or new Property Id from Step 2, so that Acquia can track the relevant analytics data.
