Password expiration

The password for your Customer Data Platform (CDP) account expires every 90 days. As usual, if you reset/change your password during that period, your old password will no longer be valid and your new password will be valid for 90 days from the date you set it.

Password reset process

  1. Go to the password reset URL:
  2. Within the website, input your email address and click RESET PASSWORD
  3. Wait up to 5 minutes
  4. Open the password reset email that was sent to you, subject: “CDP | Password Reset Request”. Please check your spam folder if it is not in your inbox.
  5. Within the email, click RESET PASSWORD. The system displays the password reset website.
  6. Within the website, enter your new password twice, obeying the password creation rules below. Then click UPDATE PASSWORD.
  7. Within the website, click Go back to login. The system displays:

Password creation rules

Your password needs to comply with the following rules:

  • Be at least 8 characters long.
  • Contain at least one upper case letter.
  • Contain at least one lower case letter.
  • Contain at least one number.
  • Contain at least one special character (from the following : $,@,#,!,%,*,?,&)

  1. Why am I locked out?

    Your account will be locked if you enter an incorrect password too many times within a given time frame. You cannot reset your password once your account is locked. To get your account unlocked, contact Acquia Support through the Acquia Support portal.
