With this feature, you can manage your integration and be self-sufficient with upstream data to CDP or downstream data from CDP. Upstream data to CDP is the source and Downstream data from CDP is the destination.
You can leverage instances and associate them to connect to multiple source and destination connectors. You can generate credentials to connect to such instances instantaneously, without having the need to connect to any third-parties. CDP provides in-built connectors and enables you to create your own connectors.
You can save draft connectors and test them before publishing. CDP maintains the entire infrastructure for such connectors. However, if you do not want to use the out-of-the-box connectors, CDP can integrate with IPAAS solution Workato. To configure such connectors, contact Acquia Support.
User role and permissions
Users who manage data integration on your team can access the credentials management interface. For more information on user roles, see Users.
PGP encryption of data files and keys
For output connectors with PGP encryption, CDP uses the public key to encrypt the files. The recipient of the files can use the private key and passcode to decrypt the files.
For input connectors with PGP encryption, CDP uses the private key and passcode to decrypt inbound files. The sender of the files can use the public key to encrypt the files.
