Changing your Acquia DAM Classic theme

This feature is available only to Acquia DAM Classic Professional subscribers.

You can use Themes to brand the Acquia DAM Classic experience by customizing the header and email logos and colors.

Configure the header

You can customize the logo and colors of the top navigation in Acquia DAM Classic.

  1. Sign in to Acquia DAM Classic.

  2. Click the top navigation and select System Preferences.

  3. Click Themes in the left navigation panel.

  4. Click the menu next to Editing and select Header, if it’s not already selected.

  5. Point your mouse to the Acquia DAM Classic logo (or your own configured logo) and click Change Logo.

  6. The Asset Chooser opens. Navigate through the folders or search for the image you want to use for your header.

  7. Select the logo, and then click Insert.

Note

Use a PNG, JPG, or JPEG for the logo.

Colors

  1. Sign in to Acquia DAM Classic.

  2. Click the top navigation and select System Preferences.

  3. Click Themes in the left navigation panel.

  4. Click the menu next to Background color or Link color.

  5. Select a spot on the color chooser or enter the hex code for your preferred color.

    Note

    Ensure your link color contrasts the header color, so viewers can see the links.

  6. Click Save.

  7. Not happy with the changes? Click Reset to restore the original colors and Acquia DAM Classic logo.

  8. When satisfied with the changes, click Save.

Configure email

You can customize the logo, signature, and colors of system-generated emails.

  1. Sign into Acquia DAM Classic.

  2. Click Settings on the top navigation and select System Preferences.

  3. Click Themes in the left navigation panel.

  4. Click the menu next to Editing and then select Email.

Signature

  1. Sign in to Acquia DAM Classic.

  2. Click the top navigation and select System Preferences.

  3. Click Themes in the left navigation panel.

  4. Click the menu next to Editing and select Email.

  5. Point your mouse to the Acquia DAM Classic signature.

  6. Click anywhere in the black box to edit the signature text.

  7. Enter the new signature.

  8. Header color:

    1. Click the drop-down menu next to Header color at the bottom of the page.

    2. Select a spot on the color chooser, or enter the hex code for your brand color.

    3. Click Save.

  9. Click Send Test to have an example email sent to the admin email notification address to confirm it looks accurate.

  10. Not happy with the changes? Click Reset to restore the original colors, signature and logo.

  11. When satisfied with the changes, click Save.
