Managing contacts with the address book

You can save the email addresses of your contacts to your Acquia DAM Classic and Brand Connect address book to quickly share assets and initiate approval requests.

Adding contacts

Sending or sharing an asset or lightbox with a user will automatically add that user to your address book.

  1. Use the following procedure to access the Address Book, based on how you’re using the product:

    • Acquia DAM Classic - Sign in to Acquia DAM Classic, click your name in the top-right corner, and then click Address Book.

    • Brand Connect - Sign in to Brand Connect, click your account avatar in the top-right corner, and then click Profile. In the Profile window, click Address Book.

  2. Enter the contact’s email address, and click Enter.

  3. Click OK to save.

Removing contacts

  1. Use the following procedure to access the address book, based on how you’re using the product:

    • Acquia DAM Classic - Sign in to Acquia DAM Classic, click your name in the top-right corner, and then click Address Book.

    • Brand Connect - Sign in to Brand Connect, click your account avatar in the top-right corner, and then click Profile. In the Profile window, click Address Book.

  2. Click the minus sign ( - ) to the right of the contact’s email address.

  3. Click OK to confirm the changes.

Selecting contacts from the address book

When emailing a link or download in Acquia DAM Classic or initiating an approval request, click the To field in the email window. This will display a dropdown of the users in your address book. Either select an email address or enter an address to fine-tune your selections.
