Customers with an Acquia Marketing Cloud subscription may add a Marketing Cloud Consultant (MCC) to their Subscription for an additional fee. Customers with a Named MCC Subscription are provided with an MCC who supports an average of six customers.
MCCs will provide Customers with guidance, best practices, training, recommendations, and/or consultation on the use of Acquia’s Marketing Cloud products. Depending upon the nature of the request, these activities may be delivered by the MCC or by another Acquia resource under the guidance of the MCC. Examples of MCC advice and guidance include:
Convey best practices for utilizing Marketing Cloud Product features and capabilities.
Provide guidance during onboarding and implementation of Acquia’s Marketing Cloud products.
Develop a deep understanding of Customer’s implementation and any customizations so that Acquia can provide optimal support during implementation, deployment, and operations.
Identify new opportunities for enhanced value and product utilization.
If ordered by the Customer under a Named MCC Subscription, the MCC may meet onsite with Customer up to one day per quarter. Travel and expenses for each visit are included with Customer’s Subscription. Any additional travel and expenses are billable. Any additional travel and expenses shall be invoiced to Customer in accordance with the Agreement.
MCCs are expert-level advisors and guides to Acquia’s products and services. MCCs are not development resources and thus the following activities are out of scope for the MCC:
Write code, or modify the existing code or scripts of any kind.
Author or edit marketing content for Customer.
Perform in-depth data analysis, synthesis, and/or interpretation.
Install, maintain, or configure software on Customer-maintained infrastructure.
Work on-site at a Customer’s business, outside of onsite visits described in the earlier section.
Act as first responders for Marketing Cloud product emergencies. Customers should open a Critical issue with Global Support as a first measure in an emergency.
Provide legal advice regarding regulatory compliance policies and processes.
