Signing in to Acquia Journey

If this is your first time signing in to Acquia Journey, you will receive an email. The email contains your username (email address) and the one-time security token used for first-time sign-in.


The token you receive is not your password.

Clicking the link will take you to the sign-in screen. Enter your email address.

  • If your organization uses Acquia Journey-managed passwords, Acquia Journey will display a sign-in screen. Click the Manage Password link.
  • If your organization uses single sign-on (SSO) at this point you will be redirected to your SSO identity provider page. After you have authenticated you will be redirected back to the Acquia Journey Home page. You will not need the token from the email.

In the Manage Password screen click the I have my Password Token tab. Enter the security token from the email and choose a new, secure password. If your password is accepted then use your email address and new password to sign in at the home screen.

Password policy

All passwords in Acquia Journey must meet the following requirements:

  • At least 8 characters (though we would encourage longer ones if possible) up to a maximum of 50 characters.
  • Contain one lower case letter, contain one upper case letter, one digit and one of the characters: !@#$%^&*
  • Cannot be a password that has been used in the five previous passwords.

If your sign-in is successful, Acquia Journey will display its home screen.

Password reset

Use one of the following methods to reset your password:

  • From within Acquia Journey from the User Menu in the top right hand corner.
  • From the sign-in screen.

Password reset within Acquia Journey

From within Acquia Journey click the Reset Password option from the menu in the top-right hand corner:

In the subsequent Reset Password you are prompted for your current password and a new password that must match the password policy rules outlined above. This password change option is not available to users from SSO organizations.

Password reset at the sign-in page

If Acquia Journey does not sign you in because your password has expired or you have forgotten your password, you can reset your password at the sign-in screen.

Enter your email address on the sign-in screen.

On the second sign-in window click the Manage Password link.

In the Manage Password window enter your email address again to receive a token. When you receive the email follow the process for a new user sign-in to set your password using the token provided in the email.
