After you have set your campaign information, the next step is to configure your actual personalization. Each rule you create will be different depending on what campaign type you build. Creating a campaign starts when you click Build or Build Experience.
When you click one of those buttons, the visual builder launches, taking you to the website. The website displays with a new top and bottom navigation bar. Use the tools to personalize your webpage.
Within the visual builder, you can fully navigate your website, clicking on any links and visiting any pages you want.
The upper visual builder navigation toolbar has the following sections:
Note
You can add or update the path and query strings in the URL navigation section and not the base domain, which appears in the read-only mode. The URL is populated from the URL field on the Site Details page. For more information, see Adding a new site.

to open the menu.To view the slots on the page and make changes:
Click the toggle switch in the upper-right corner of the page.
Switch the visual builder from Browse mode to Edit mode.
To change the content of a slot for the given campaign, click into the slot. Depending on the campaign type, a new content dialog box displays.
A/B and targeted personalization tests display all the usable content available for personalization coming from Drupal through Acquia Content Hub.
If no content is selected, the grey bar at the bottom of the dialog box displays Current Selection: No Content Selected. Click Save to save the current selection or Cancel to close the dialog box.
Content recommendations are based around content filters, and recommendation settings. When you click Add content, the Recommendation tab is highlighted, containing the Content Filter and Recommendation Settings fieldsets.
Mixed campaigns use the rules of their sub-tests.
If more than one campaign rule affects a single slot, click Prioritize Experience to set the order in which those personalizations are delivered. If the slot isn’t found, this option isn’t available.
Note
Newly created personalizations on a slot receive first priority. Successive prioritization changes are saved in the order you specify.
Drag the campaign rules to change priority. Rules evaluate top-to-bottom in the list based on which segments a visitor matches.
Continue by making any other changes.
When finished, click Confirm or Confirm criteria to move on, Edit Criteria to return to the filter selection (content recommendations only), or Cancel to discard.
If you have confirmed the content selection, the added content renders in the slot. Content also renders if you have selected Preview mode.
