This service empowers Drupal marketers to improve site search experiences with agile tools so that Drupal website visitors can find and discover relevant content faster. It provides user-friendly tools that enable your team to refine search experiences without complex coding, while robust analytics provide valuable insights into user behavior. Acquia Search powered by SearchStax provides enhanced search performance, reliability, and feature sets, and at the same time reduces maintenance burdens. The solution supports scalable deployment across various enterprise levels, which accommodates increased traffic and content needs.

• Provides the following analytics enhancements for a richer analytics experience than legacy Acquia Search:

  • Updates the Site Search analytics dashboard every hour.
  • Provides access to dedicated analytics dashboards.

  Marketers and site owners can easily access the available dashboards and review key metrics such as popular searches, searches with no results, click-through rate, and average click position.

• Provides AI features for Smart Match Assist, Smart Answers, and Related Searches included in the Premier Plus plan.
• Enables you to index non-Drupal content through crawler and APIs included in the Premier Plus plan.

Constraints

Acquia Search powered by SearchStax currently has the following constraints:

• Provides lower indexing speed compared to legacy Acquia Search. Acquia will increase the indexing speed in one of the upcoming releases.

• Allows limited Solr schema customization through its API because of limited Solr administrative access.

• Does not currently allow to block bot traffic at the API level. For improved bot management, Acquia recommends that you use a Web Application Firewall (WAF) such as Cloudflare.
