Acquia Edge waits 100 seconds for a response from your back end (origin) servers before timing out. If Acquia Edge does not receive a response after 100 seconds, it closes the connection and displays the following error:
Error 524: A timeout occurred
Long-running processes, such as report generation, trigger this error unless the application is modified to return HTTP responses in the time limit.
Note
Cloud Platform subscribers can contact Acquia Support to request a timeout limit increase to a maximum of 600 seconds.
