To clear platform-level edge caches for a site environment, use the Multi‑Experience Operations (MEO) interface. This feature enables users to invalidate cached content without use of the Cloud platform API or command line tool.
Use this feature after the deployment of changes or after a fix for an issue to ensure that changes are visible to visitors quickly.
Caches cleared: Varnish and Acquia Cloud Platform Content Delivery Network (CDN), if enabled.
Caches not cleared: Application-level caches, such as Drupal internal caches, or database caches.
Performance impact: Clearing caches must be done with caution as it might temporarily increase the load on the origin Acquia Cloud platform while the cache rebuilds.
