The following are the features of Front End Hosting - Basic:
Content Delivery Network (CDN) integration
Integrates with CDN using a third-party tool to distribute web content efficiently. The third-party tool is Fastly.
- Real-time monitoring and retrieval of balancer logs
- Supports downloading of historical balancer server logs for offline analysis.
Supports streaming of log data in real-time for live monitoring.

High availability configuration
Maintains dual-replica instances across all environments to ensure high availability.
Provisioning of three default environments
Provisions three default environments, Development (Dev), Staging (Stg), and Production (Prod) with the option to purchase additional environments.
- Automated cache clearing
- Offers Varnish and CDN cache clearing post-deployment, and cache invalidation based on TTL (Time-To-Live) configurations at the CDN level through Fastly.
- Supports manual cache clearance.
Code Studio integration
Allows customers with Code Studio subscriptions to use it for CI/CD with SSG hosting to streamline the building and deployment phases for SSG artifacts.
Limitations¶
The following are the limitations of Front End Hosting - Basic:
- Does not provide auto-scaling
- Does not support artifacts exceeding 10GB
- Does not provide Node.js runtime which means it cannot host Node.js applications, connect with a Drupal backend, or perform Server-Side Rendering (SSR) functions.
Limits support to Node.js versions that are currently in the Long Term Support (LTS) and maintenance phases

- Supports only NPM package manager for building and installing dependencies
- Does not have any compliance certifications, which may affect users who need to adhere to specific regulatory standards.
