Configuring an environment

Important

In Cloud Next environments, changing your environment settings triggers an atomic update, similar to a code deployment. This provisions new capacity for your environment and retires the old capacity once the new capacity is in place. This ensures that the new settings do not cause problems for your Cloud Platform infrastructure before traffic is routed to the updated containers.

To configure an environment:

From the Overview page of an environment, click Actions and select Configure Environment. Alternatively, click Configuration in the left navigation pane.
Perform the following, as appropriate:
- Select the runtime PHP version for the environment.
- Modify the advanced PHP settings.
  - For environments running on Cloud Next, configure your Memcached memory limit.
- Enable New Relic APM and configure your New Relic settings.
- (Cloud Next only) Enable Cloud Actions and configure your settings.
- (Cloud Next only) Enable mod_proxy.
- (Cloud Next only) Update or revert your OS version.
