Why Is Something Working Locally But Not on the Acquia Platform?

Issue

My website isn't functioning as expected in the Acquia Platform, but works fine locally. 

Resolution

There are a number of tools to work on a site using your local computer as the host before pushing it to our platform, including DDEV, Lando, and many others. Sometimes a feature will not work on our platform for reasons that aren't always obvious.

• Check out Why Is Something Working on Non-Production But Not Production?. Many of those items could be applicable to the local environment as well.
• Determine Whether .gitignore is Ignoring a File, and is not being pushed to your repository, and therefore not to the Acquia platform.

If you determine that none of those are the reasons, file a Support ticket with us and give us as much detail about your local setup as possible, and we will help to understand what is going on.
