Cloud Platform provides several configurable security settings you can use to establish security policies for the Cloud Platform interface. To view or change the security settings, you must have the *Owner* or *Administrator* [role](/acquia-cloud-platform/access/teams/roles) for the application’s [organization](teams/organizations.html). Viewing security settings ------------------------------------------------------------------------ To view the Cloud Platform security settings for an [application](/acquia-cloud-platform/manage-apps): 1. [Sign in to the Cloud Platform user interface](/node/55875) with the *Owner* or *Administrator* role and select the application you want to work with. 2. In the menu on the left side, click **Security**. The **Security settings** page displays the application’s settings for the following features: - [Requiring two-factor verification for users](/acquia-cloud-platform/access/two-step-verification) (two-factor authentication) - [Allowlisting access to the Cloud Platform user interface](/acquia-cloud-platform/access/ip-allowlist) (IP restrictions) - [Controlling access with Shield](/acquia-cloud-platform/add-ons/shield/allowlist) (available only to [Shield](/acquia-cloud-platform/add-ons/shield) subscribers) Modifying security settings ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- To edit an application’s security settings: 1. On the **Security** page, click **Edit settings** to open the **Edit security settings** page. 2. On the **Edit security settings** page, make the changes you want and then click **Save**.
