How do I create template categories?

Template categories display when users are searching for templates and help them quickly and easily find the one they need to customize.

With the Administrate Template Categories permission, you can create parent and child categories and organize similar templates into categories from Template Settings in the Admin app.

To create a parent template category:

1. Click Template categories in the left navigation.
2. Click Create parent category.
3. Enter a category name and, if applicable, description. Select to list the category before other categories, at the end of the category list, or to display it alphabetically.
4. Click Create.

To create child categories, or subcategories, click the + next to a category name and enter the information listed above.

Click and drag categories in the categories list to rearrange them.
