After you create collections, they can be shared from the Selection panel and the Collections page. Assets can be shared as a collection or via email from the Selection panel. Global and personal collections that have already been created can be shared from the Collections page.
To share assets as a collection from the Selection panel, follow these steps:
Enter a title and a description.
Click Share to share the collection via email or Edit Share Page to create a collection share page. In the instance below, we will share the collection with you in an email.
Next, select who should receive the collection. Add new contacts if the recipient names are not displayed. The shared collection displays in the Shared Collections table on the Collections page. Choose from collection options on the Collections page, which include the edits made to the Share Collection page.
Assets can also be shared by email from the Selection panel. To share by email:

After that, choose the conversion formats you want to share. The assets will be shared via email and the Shares page displays.
Users who are not logged in to Acquia DAM (Widen) and non-users see all assets in a shared collection. Logged-in recipients see assets in the collection according to their assigned permissions. This applies whether you share a collection through the Selection panel or by email.

Share global and personal collections from the Collections page. To share a global or personal collection, click Share Collection and select recipients.
Note that global collections will only display on the Collections page when the Administrate Global Collections permission is enabled by your site admin. With that permission, you'll see all global collections listed, but you may not be able to access all assets within those collections if you don't have permissions for the asset groups to which those assets belong.
