Copilot enables users to generate concise summaries of PDF and DOCX documents, which provides immediate visibility into asset content. This feature uses Amazon Bedrock for its AI capabilities.
Enabling Copilot
Copilot is disabled by default. Administrators can enable it in Admin > Global features.
After enabled, all users can access Copilot through the "AI" sparkle icon in the top navigation. Users must accept the GenAI user guidelines before they can interact with the AI Assistant.
Using Copilot
Select the AI sparkle icon to open the chat dialog box.
Type a custom prompt or select a suggestion to ask questions or summarize content.
Obtain AI-powered responses based on the DAM knowledge base or the specific asset you are accessing.
Use available actions:
Copy the response text.
Provide feedback using the thumbs up/down icons.
Restart the conversation to clear context.
Summarize documents
In Asset Digest and Asset Details, you can use Copilot to summarize PDF and DOCX assets.
Procedure: Select the suggested "Summarize this document" prompt or type your own request to quickly review the file content.
Output: Copilot generates a concise document summary, typically maintaining a length of 350 words or less.
Requirements
Supported formats: .pdf and .docx.
Maximum file size: 10 MB.
Best practices
Start a new chat if responses seem unclear or off-topic.
Responses can vary due to the non-deterministic nature of the AI.
Use natural language to ask questions about DAM features or workflows.
In custom prompts, avoid ambiguous language and provide specific context.
Custom prompts are limited to 280 characters.
