Troubleshooting
Problem: The field appears in the Views administrative interface, but does not display values in the asset library.
Solution:
- Ensure that the field contains values in your Acquia DAM instance.
- Ensure that the field is included in the asset metadata.
- Ensure that Hide if empty is cleared if you want to display the field label or fallback text when empty.
Field is truncated or overlaps
Problem: Metadata text is truncated unexpectedly or overlaps with other elements.
Solution:
- The field displays a maximum of three lines by default.
- Use the Maximum length setting to control text length.
- For long text strings, select Trim to word boundary for clean word truncation.
Problem: You added new metadata fields to your Acquia DAM instance, but they do not appear in Drupal. Metadata field discovery is cached for 24 hours to minimize API calls.
Solution:
- Clear the Drupal cache by going to
Configuration > Development > Performance > Clear all caches. - Alternatively, rebuild the cache through Drush:
The new fields appear in the list after you clear the cache.
