Acquia DAM - April 2026
Bulk Actions - Bulk Add to Collections
To manage collections at scale, use the modern UI instead of the legacy experience. This update allows you to select assets using the blue checkmarks to trigger a dark Bulk Actions Bar. From this bar, you can organize assets immediately without navigating away from your current page.
Customer benefits
- Streamline workflows: Select the + icon in the action bar to trigger the organization modal and add assets to your project.
- Manage flexibly: Create a new collection or search for an existing one within the same modal.
- Maintain governance: Global collections are visible to all users, but adding assets to global collections is limited to users with the appropriate permission.

Workflow to DAM Metadata Synchronization
The Workflow to DAM Metadata Synchronization integration is a native service powered by Workato that eliminates manual data entry. The system monitors the DAM for new asset uploads and reads data directly from the filename. This process automatically updates the asset metadata fields to match your project management data.
Customer benefits
- Automate mapping: The integration identifies the Project Number and Deliverable ID from the filename to pull associated values like Campaign Name.
- Ensure data accuracy: Your metadata matches your project management data exactly to provide a single source of truth.
Operate efficiently: This service runs in the background without any new UI components to install or manage.

Collections Search Results Page (SRP)
The Search Results Page (SRP) for collections provides a native experience within the new search UI. This update replaces the legacy interface with a high-performance grid designed for speed and clarity. You can explore projects through the global navigation and toggle between Global and My Collections.
Customer benefits
- Unify navigation: Access all project collections from a single, optimized page instead of multiple legacy screens.
- Enhance collaboration: Select the "Invite" button in the header to share collections through persistent and permission-smart URLs.
- Centralize enrichment: Use the Dark Bulk Actions Bar to perform complex tasks, such as to add attachments or to edit metadata in bulk.
Natural Language Search (NLS)
Natural Language Search (NLS) is an AI assisted search method that understands queries in everyday language. The engine interprets the intent behind your search rather than relying on exact keyword matches. This allows you to find assets by describing them, even if you do not know the specific filename or tag.
Customer benefits
- Search semantically: The engine recognizes and corrects common misspellings and provides results for related concepts or synonyms.
- Support multilingual teams: Access results across different languages, such as to find English-tagged assets by searching in Spanish.
- Protect data privacy: The system uses an open-source LLM that does not use customer data for machine learning.
