As a best practice, filenames for assets uploaded to Acquia DAM should be no more than 27 characters in length, not including the file extension. The maximum length allowed is 128 characters. Filenames longer than 27 characters will be cut off in thumbnail view.
File path limits¶
For bulk uploads, the maximum length of the file path is 1,024 characters. The maximum length for the filename itself is 128 characters.
