Auditing Drupal CMS integration links in Acquia DAM
Acquia DAM and Drupal CMS work together to allow content teams to embed digital assets directly into web pages and digital experiences. When you use an integration that leverages the DAM integration links endpoint, such as the Acquia native Drupal connector, the system automatically registers these external references.
While Acquia DAM displays integration details on an individual asset level, this relationship data is not globally indexed or searchable within the DAM interface. This makes it difficult for administrators to quickly determine which assets across their library are currently in use on the web. The Integration Link Auditor is a client-side utility designed to solve this visibility challenge. The tool compares your site's registered integration links with your active DAM repository to create a centralized report of all published assets and identify absent or deleted assets.
Security and privacy
The Integration Link Auditor runs entirely on your local machine.
No external data transmission: Network requests travel directly between your local web browser and your Acquia DAM instance endpoints (.widencollective.com and api.widencollective.com).
No server storage: The tool does not send your Bearer Token, site subdomain, or asset data to external servers or store them with third parties.
Session isolation: Close or refresh the browser tab to completely clear all active session data.
Prerequisites
Before you run the tool, gather the following requirements:
DAM subdomain: Your site's unique URL prefix. For example, if your DAM URL is mysite.widencollective.com or mysite.acquiadam.com, your subdomain is mysite.
API Bearer Token: An active token with permissions to query REST API integration links and view assets. A token with broad permissions is recommended to avoid false flags in your Skipped Links report. If you need to generate a token, refer to .

Using the Integration Link Auditor
1. Launch the tool
Download and save the Integration Link Report Final.html file attached to this article. Double-click the file to open it in a modern web browser. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge are supported.
2. Enter your credentials and run the audit
Enter your DAM subdomain. For example, enter mysite.
Paste your Bearer Token.
Select Run Reconciliation.
If you receive a connection error or a 401/403 response, ensure that your subdomain is entered without https:// or domain extensions, and verify that your API token is active.
The tool fetches all registered integration links and verifies each asset's presence in the DAM. A progress bar displays real-time status as records are evaluated.
Auditing 14 of 120...
Audit Complete!
Reviewing the results
The interactive dashboard provides two distinct tabbed views.
Found Assets tab
This tab displays active DAM assets currently embedded across your integrated web properties.
Filename: The official file name stored in the DAM.
Description: Information regarding where or how the asset is referenced.
UUID: The unique asset identifier.
Skipped Links tab
This tab displays references that remain in your integration links dataset but could not be located in your active DAM library.
Description: The registered link reference.
UUID: The missing asset identifier.
Status: Lists Asset not found, which indicates that the file was deleted or moved to the pending delete queue, or API/Network Error.
Exporting reports and next steps
Once the audit is complete, download CSV exports for reporting, content auditing, or governance.
Select Download Found Assets to export a complete inventory of confirmed, active asset links in use on the web. The system saves this report as found_assets.csv.
Select Download Skipped Report to export orphaned references to assets that are no longer present in the DAM. The system saves this report as: skipped_assets_report.csv.
Evaluating skipped links
Assets listed in the Skipped Links report are still registered in your integration link dataset but no longer exist in your active DAM library. Review this list to help administrators identify broken image references on external web pages and clean up outdated integration data.
