You can select and delete multiple assets from the New Search and Asset Digest views. Deleted assets are not permanently removed. They are placed in the Pending Delete queue in the Admin app, where an Admin-level user must confirm the final deletion.

Prerequisites

• You must have the appropriate permissions to delete assets.
• The New Search or Asset Digest view must be enabled for your account.

Bulk delete assets

1. Navigate to the New Search or Asset Digest view.

2. Select the assets that you want to delete.

   
3. In the bulk actions bar, click the Ellipsis icon (three-dot menu).

4. Click Delete.

   

5. Wait for the system to process the deletion.

   

6. A notification confirms that the assets were deleted successfully.

   

The selected assets are now in the Pending Delete queue in Admin.

Approve pending deletions (Admin)

1. Navigate to the Admin app.
2. Open the Pending Delete queue.
3. Review the assets that await deletion.
4. Confirm the final deletion for the assets that you want to permanently remove.

Additional information

• Bulk delete follows the same logic as single-asset deletion in the legacy interface. Assets are routed to the Pending Delete queue and are not permanently removed until an Admin-level user confirms the deletion.
• If you do not have the required permissions, the Delete option does not appear in the bulk actions bar. Contact your Acquia DAM administrator to request access.
