Images and colors can be used in portal banner sections. Add just one banner at the top of the portal or add multiple banners between asset sections. To add images, click Change image, then search for and select an image, crop it, and add a call to action button, and it'll be placed in the banner area. Drag it to the position that fits best.
AI, EPS, GIF, JPG, PSD, or TIFF files can be used for images. For GIFs, animation isn't retained in banner images, so the first frame of the GIF will be used.
Images that are 2,048 x 512 px work best; the height should be a minimum of 256 pixels. For banners to be most responsive, ensure that there's enough space all around the text and buttons in a smaller window - a window as small as 1,280 px. The banner stops sizing down when the screen width is reduced to 1,024 px, so be sure to resize the window to a smaller width to make sure spacing looks ok. We recommend placing text and buttons on the left side of the banner for the best user experience.
If you need to include more than one image in a banner, we recommend that you first create a layered file in Photoshop, then upload it as an asset to Acquia DAM.
Change the image anytime, or delete it if it's not needed!
