The Focal Point feature allows you to specify the most important part of an image when it is cropped. This helps ensure that the subject of your image remains visible when the image appears at different sizes or aspect ratios.
Before you use Focal Point with Acquia DAM assets, make sure:

drush en focal_point crop -ySelect Focal Point Crop in the list.
Height: Enter the height in pixels, such as 60.

Open the Media Library:
Select the Media Library icon in the CKEditor toolbar.
Choose an embed code (image style):
In the Embed code list, select an image style that includes the Focal Point Crop effect.
Click the area of the image that you want to stay in focus. The crosshair moves to that position.
Add an image from Acquia DAM:
Locate the Focal point selection field for the image style, such as Focal point selection for image style: Hero banner – Focal point 200x60.
Focal Point uses a percentage‑based coordinate system to define the important area of an image.
