Saved searches in Acquia DAM store your frequent search criteria. These criteria include keywords, applied filters, and Advanced Search parameters.
You can load a saved search to run it again without rebuilding the criteria. You can also share saved searches with everyone in your organization to standardize how your teams find assets.
Visibility and permissions
When you save a search, you select one of the following visibility options:
- Only me: Only you can access the saved search.
- Everyone in my organization: All users in your organization can access and load the saved search.
For saved searches that are shared with your organization:
- Only the owner of the saved search can overwrite, rename, change the visibility of, or delete the saved search.
- All users can create a new saved search from a shared saved search. The original saved search remains unchanged.
Restricted field handling: If you do not have permission to search a custom metadata field in a saved search, Acquia DAM ignores that filter and runs the rest of the search criteria. You never get results for assets that you do not have permission to access.
