Metadata translation

You can set up an integration so that when assets are uploaded to the DAM, text from a metadata field is automatically translated and mapped into a new field. It can be set up for multiple fields and also one field can be translated into multiple languages. 

To do this, you’ll need one of two integrations: 

• Google Translate integration
• OpenAI integration

Any language supported by Google Translate and OpenAI are also supported in DAM for metadata translations. Contact your Acquia account rep to request an integration. 

Portals app

Similar to DAM translation, you can translate text in portals to any language supported by your web browser.

You might see inconsistencies in translations. If you do, try disabling and enabling your browser’s translation.
