When your user account is created, Acquia Source powered by Drupal automatically creates your first site and enables you to create additional sites.
Use the following steps to create a new site in Acquia Source:
Log in to Acquia Sites Dashboard.
Click Create Site.
The system displays the Select a Template to Get Started page with two options.
Select one of the following options based on your requirement:
Blank Site: Select this option to create a new site from scratch, with no default-created sections or components for Experience Builder.
Acquia Site Template: Select this option to create a site by using a template. Currently, Acquia Source offers Acquia Site Template. However, more templates will be made available in future.
If you use a template, your site is created with default-created sections and components, which can be modified after site creation. For more information, visit Acquia Site Template.
Click Select Template.
The system displays the Create Site Label dialog box.
In the Site Label field, enter a name for your site.
The site label is used for generating the admin-only URL to access the site and cannot be edited later. However, custom domains can be added.
In the Select Subscription field, select the subscription if you have multiple subscriptions.
Click Start Building to begin the site creation process.
This process may take a few minutes. You can track the progress on the Sites page.
