Content scheduling in Acquia Source enables you to automate the publication and unpublication of content.

Use the following steps to enable scheduling for a content type:

• Access your site.

• In the left sidebar, click Structure > Content types.
• Select the content type that you want to configure.
• Click the Scheduler tab.
• In the Publishing and Unpublishing areas, configure the available options.

• Click Save.

  After content scheduling is enabled, content edit forms include scheduling options that allow you to automate the publication and unpublication process:

  • Publish On: Specify the exact date and time when the content should automatically be published.
  • Publish State: Define the state of the content upon publication. For example, Published.
  • Unpublish On: Set the date and time for when the content should be automatically unpublished.
  • Unpublish State: Define the state of the content upon publication. For example, Archived.
