Campaign Studio

Blocking domains from submitting forms

Campaign Studio allows you to restrict specific domains from sending forms. By doing so, you can ensure that your proprietary content is safe and reduce the number of unqualified leads.

To do so, perform the following steps:

Configuring blocked domains

To configure blocked domains:

  1. Sign in to your Campaign Studio account.

  2. Click the Settings icon on the top right corner and go to Configuration > Form Settings.

  3. Specify all the domains in the provided text box. You can restrict either specific email aliases that belong to a domain or an entire domain. To block the entire domain, you can use wildcards (*).

  4. Click Save & Close.

Associating blocked domains to form

To associate the configured blocked domains to a form:

  1. Sign in to your Campaign Studio account.

  2. Go to Components > Forms.

  3. To apply the configured blocked domains to an existing form, access an existing form. Alternatively, create a new form.

  4. Go to the Fields tab and select Email in the Add a new field field.

  5. Enter the required fields, as appropriate.

  6. Under the Validation tab, set the Domain name submission filter to Yes.

  7. (Optional) Update the validation message.

  8. Save the changes.

Testing

To test the successful association of blocked domains to forms:

  1. Access the form with which you have associated the blocked domains.

  2. Preview the form.

  3. In Email, specify one of your blocked email aliases or domains.

  4. Try to submit the form.

You will see an error message. This confirms the successful association of blocked domains/email aliases with the form.
