Prerequisites

• Ensure that you use the Chrome browser. 
• To add feeds directly in the Feed Reader UI, ensure that you have the URLs of the RSS feeds that you want to follow. For example, a releases feed or product-specific feed.

Installing an RSS reader extension

1. Open the Chrome browser.
2. Click Extensions > Manage Extensions.
3. In the left pane, click Chrome Web Store.
4. Search for feeder.
5. From the search results page, click RSS Feed Reader (or any other RSS reader extension).
6. Click Add to Chrome.
7. Click Add extension.
8. Verify that the extension is added to your Chrome toolbar in the top-right corner.
9. (Optional) If you do not see the extension, click the Extensions icon in the top-right corner and pin the extension, so that it is always visible in your Chrome toolbar.

Following RSS feeds on this site

1. Access the desired page using the navigation or executing a search.

2. Click the RSS feed icon near the top of the page.  

   

3. RSS Feed Reader will open a new tab to confirm you want to follow the feed. If you have more than one feed reader installed, it provides the option of selecting which one you want to use to follow the feed.

   
4. Click Follow.

5. The feed reader provides a confirmation message and a link to manage settings.

   

Adding feeds to your RSS reader

1. Open RSS Feed Reader.
2. Click Add feed.
3. Click Web and RSS.

4. In the Enter feed's address field, type the URL of the page that you want to subscribe to and view.

   For example, https://docs.acquia.com/.

5. Click Search and wait until the feed is populated in the Available feeds area.
6. After the feed is populated, click Follow.
7. Repeat Steps 4 to 6 to add feeds for other pages.
8. Click the required feed to access the page content.
