Acquia does not allow you to sign up for others seeking to take an exam. Every user must register for their own user accounts in order to take Acquia exams. Customers and Acquia Partners can purchase exam vouchers in bulk by contacting their Acquia Account Manager or Partner Manager.
Acquia exam vouchers are available in a 10-pack that can be used for any exam. The benefits of bulk vouchers are:
You can email the Acquia Certification team at [email protected] with any questions or inquiries you may have.
A registered user can produce their own receipt by doing the following:
Acquia cannot provide invoices for certification exams. Exam payments are processed by ProctorU, and for security reasons, Acquia does not have access to payment or credit card details for these transactions. If you have questions about payment processing, taxes, or invoices you can complete a ProctorU request form.
When you purchase an exam, you purchase only one attempt at the exam. When you complete an exam, your score is displayed on the screen. Your results may help you determine which test sections need more preparation before your next attempt at the exam.
You may retake the same exam a total of three times. A fourth attempt requires a waiver from the Acquia Certification Program office. This waiver allows us to make sure you are preparing correctly and taking the level of exam you intend for your skill level.
To retake the exam, you must re-register for the exam and either pay using a credit card, coupon, or voucher.
Technically, Acquia certifications don’t expire, but they do age. With any technical topic, it’s a good idea to refresh your certification often to prove you’re capable of working with the current version of the software or tools. When using our certification registry to search for qualified candidates, those looking for candidates will compare you to others who may have more current certification.
After you pass an exam, you can download your exam certificate from Acquia Academy. In addition, your exam data will be transmitted to the Acquia Certification Registry, the source of truth for those earning our credentials, and an account will be created for you there. You can right-click any badge image on your profile page to download it.
Once your account is created, you can also manage your certificates and add details to your profile. Visit our certification registry documentation page to learn more.
Email [email protected] if you need additional support for badges and certificates.
After you pass an exam, it takes the system approximately 24 hours to display your exam record in the registry. If you cannot find your name and exam record after 48 hours, send us an email at [email protected] and include your name as registered for the exam, and the time and date you took the exam.
If you have not passed an exam, your exam record will not appear in the registry.
The data in Acquia’s Certification Registry comes from the data that you enter when creating your accounts. If your account information is out of date, it will be reflected in the certification registry. If you want to update information listed in the certification registry, follow the instructions on updating your registry profile.
The registry is our source of truth for managing credential data, so it should reflect the email address where you want to receive communication about your credential(s).
To merge two or more accounts in the registry, send us an email at [email protected] and include the account details for the accounts you want to merge. Specify the account you want to retain as the primary account. An administrator will merge your accounts for you. As part of Acquia’s regular platform maintenance, Acquia Certification Program administrators may contact you directly if you have two or more accounts, and request details for the account you want to retain.
If Acquia makes any changes to a product name for a credential you have earned, we will contact you to let you know via the email address you used to register for your exam. Acquia will also update the Acquia Certification Registry and all its profiles to reflect the new product name.
You should update your CV, LinkedIn profile, and other places where you discuss your accreditation to reflect the new product name and badge when this happens.
To request a refund, you must complete a ProctorU request form. Select Request Refund from the available options, and complete the form with the required details related to your purchased exam. Response times are typically 24-48 hours.
To receive a formal invoice with full tax and supplier identification details, you must purchase vouchers directly from Acquia instead of the website of the testing partner. Send your request to [email protected]. This process is recommended for partners and organizations that require specific tax documentation for accounting records.
The testing delivery platform is designed for individual transactions and provides a standard proof of purchase instead of a commercial tax invoice. For organizations that must track certification expenses under a corporate tax ID, Acquia recommends that you pre-purchase vouchers through the Acquia Partner team to ensure that you meet all local tax requirements.
If you already made a purchase through ProctorU and require a fiscal invoice, be aware that the testing partner cannot retroactively adjust receipts into tax-compliant invoices. For future certifications, follow the direct purchase path through [email protected] to ensure that you receive the necessary documentation before you take the exam.
