To deprovision a domain removes it from Acquia Edge Standard. After you deprovision a domain, traffic no longer routes through the Edge network for that domain. Edge Standard protections and caching no longer apply.
Use this procedure to:
- Move a domain to a different delivery or security provider.
- Stop routing a domain through Edge Standard.
For general setup steps and statuses, refer to Domain management.
Before you begin
- Plan your DNS change first.
- To avoid downtime, update your DNS records to point to the new destination before you deprovision the domain.
- Ensure you have access to the Edge Console and permission to manage domains.
Warning: To deprovision a domain stops traffic routing through the network. Your domain becomes unsecured and traffic no longer routes through the CDN.
