Initial tasks
This document provides information about the initial tasks to do in Acquia Edge Standard after the initial configuration is complete.

Acquia Edge Standard Domain management lets you add, configure, and deprovision custom domains from the Edge console. Monitor domain statuses and manage SSL certificate provisioning for each hostname.

The Security Metrics dashboard provides real-time visibility into traffic patterns, blocked threats, bandwidth savings, and WAF rule effectiveness across your protected domains.

Acquia Edge Standard WAF rule configuration lets you manage Acquia Managed Rulesets, OWASP rulesets, and Custom WAF rules. You can set rules to alert mode or block mode to control how threats are handled.

Rate limiting protects your domains from traffic spikes and abusive requests by controlling the number of requests allowed from a single source within a defined time window.

IP access control lets you create allow lists and block lists to permit or deny traffic from specific IP addresses or ranges.

Role-based access control (RBAC) lets you assign Edge Administrator, Edge Manager, and Edge Viewer roles to team members so they have the appropriate level of access to the Edge console.

Use the Acquia Purge module to invalidate cached content from your Drupal application. When you publish content changes, the module sends purge requests to the Edge network to ensure that visitors receive updated pages.
