Enabling the SearchStax module and routing searches through it
Note
If you are subscribed to a paid plan, such as Premier or Premier Plus, proceed to Step 1.
If you are using a basic plan, such as Standard, Plus, Premium, or Elite, proceed to Step 5.
Click Settings in your SearchStax Site Search app, then select Analytics API.
Record the Analytics Tracking URL and Analytics Tracking Key.
Go to the administration menu on your Drupal application (glossary term, activate to view definition).
Enabling the SearchStax module and routing searches through it

Click Configuration, then Search and Metadata, followed by SearchStax Settings.
Enter the values for the Analytics URL field and the Global analytics key field (also referred to as the Analytics Tracking Key) that you recorded earlier.
Select Re-route searches through SearchStudio.
In most cases, do not select Configure searches via SearchStudio.
To expose additional options, select Configure searches via SearchStudio. If the migration goal is to switch the backend from Acquia Search to SearchStax, these options should remain deselected:
Parse mode and searched fields
Highlighting settings
Sorts
Facets
For example, you can select the options listed above to use a SearchStax UI Kit.
Spellcheck requires configuration in the SearchStax app. To enable spellcheck select Re-route searches through SearchStudio, Configure searches via SearchStudio, and Spellcheck settings.
