Yes! When the Predictive Searching feature is enabled, the Acquia DAM will predict what you’re searching for as you type characters and keywords in the quick search. Filenames, collection names, category names, and any selected metadata fields that match the characters and keywords will display as you type them. From there, you can quickly select what you need.

DAM admins can select metadata fields for predictive search to search on. Select one to three metadata fields. Note that numeric and date fields cannot be selected for predictive searches.

If you're a DAM admin, you can enable or disable the Predictive Search feature on the Features page. While predictive search matches characters and terms in the site, it does not take into account user permissions. If data shouldn’t be displayed among different user groups, you may not want to enable this feature.
