Use the following steps to add terms to a vocabulary:

Access your site.
In the left sidebar, click Structure > Taxonomy > Overview.
Locate the vocabulary to which you want to add terms.
Click the dropdown corresponding to the vocabulary.
Click Add term.
In the Name field, enter a name for the term.
In the Description field, enter a description for the term.
Assign metadata to the term.
For hierarchical vocabularies, expand the Relations section and select a parent term if applicable.
Terms can have various relationships:
- Hierarchical: Parent-child relationships. Fox example, Europe contains France.
- Synonyms: Alternative names for the same term.
- Related terms: Cross-references between terms.
Click Save.
