Enabling content to be added to a menu

Use the following steps to configure content types to include menu settings when creating or editing content:

  1. Access your site.

  2. In the left sidebar, click Structure > Content types.
  3. Select the content type that you want to modify.
  4. Scroll down the page and click the Menu settings tab.
  5. Select the workflow that you want to apply.
  6. In the Available menus list, select the menus where content of this type can be placed.
  7. If you want new content to be added under a specific menu item, select the Default parent link.
  8. Click Save.

    When creating or editing content of this type, authors will have the option to add it directly to a menu.
