Managing text formats

Use the following steps to manage text formats:

  1. Access your site.

  2. In the left sidebar, click Configuration > Content authoring > Text formats and editors.

  3. To create a text format:
    1. Click Add text format.
    2. In the Name field, enter a name for the text format.
    3. In the Role filed, select the checkbox for the role who can use this text format
    4. Complete the configuration for the text format.
    5. Click Save configuration.
  4. To edit a text format:
    1. Click Configure in the dropdown corresponding to the text format.
    2. Make the required changes.
    3. Click Save configuration.
  5. To disable a text format:
    1. Click Disable in the dropdown corresponding to the text format.
    2. In the confirmation dialog box, click Disable

  6. To enable a disabled text format:

    1. Click Enable in the dropdown corresponding to the text format.
    2. In the confirmation dialog box, click Enable

  7. To clone a text format:

    1. Click Clone in the dropdown corresponding to the text format.

    2. In the New Label field, enter a name for the text format.

    3. Click the Configure tab, make the required changes, and click Save configuration.

    4. Switch back to the Clone tab and click Clone.
