The Campaign Studio and Conversion Optimization integration integrates Campaign Studio's segmentation capabilities with Conversion Optimization's personalization features, enabling cross-platform personalization. This integration enables marketers to deliver targeted experiences based on Campaign Studio segments while leveraging Conversion Optimization's optimization tools.
Prerequisites¶
To use this integration, you must have the following:
A subscription to Conversion Optimization
A subscription to Campaign Studio
Access to the Conversion Optimization dashboard and campaign management, including permission to create custom segments in Conversion Optimization
Using the integration¶
The integration between Campaign Studio and Conversion Optimization allows you to:
- Share Campaign Studio segments with Conversion Optimization for targeted experiments.
- Display different email and landing page variations to different Campaign Studio segments.
Enabling the integration¶
Follow these steps to set up the integration between Campaign Studio and Conversion Optimization:
Step 1: Enable Segment Tracking in Campaign Studio ¶
- Log in to Campaign Studio .
- In the upper right corner, click the Settings gear icon to expand the menu.
- Click the Configuration tab.
The Configurations menu appears on the left. - Click Tracking Settings.
- In Mautic tracking settings, locate the Append Segment IDs to Tracking URLs setting and toggle it to Yes.
Click Save & Close.

Step 2: Define Custom Segments in VWO¶
- Follow the information provided in Creating Segments Using Query Parameters in VWO.
- Set the name of the query parameter to
segment_ids. - Set the value of the query parameter to your segment ID from Campaign Studio.
