After your Looks and dashboards are built in Customer Data Platform (CDP), you can schedule and send them through email for further processing. You can view the related content as an email file attachment.
Important
Before scheduling dashboards, you must configure and allowlist your company and partner email domain to receive reports through Schedule Email Delivery. To do so, contact Acquia Support.
Configuring a schedule
To configure a schedule for Looks or dashboards:
- Sign in to your CDP user interface,
- Go to Analytics > Metrics, and select a dashboard.
Click the Schedule Email Delivery icon at the top right corner of the look or dashboard.
CDP displays the Email Delivery pop-up screen.
In Email Subject, specify the subject for your email.
Note
CDP prefixes the specified subject with

.Specify the receiver email addresses. Press Enter after each email address.
CDP displays the following error message if the email domain is not allowlisted:
Scheduling to the following email addresses is not allowed: [email protected].
Ensure that the domains that belong to the email addresses are allowlisted in the Acquia platform to receive the Metrics dashboards through email. To allowlist your email domain, contact Acquia Support and mention the error message.
Important
Use all lowercase characters in the email addresses.
- To send a custom message, select the Custom Message checkbox and specify the body of the email.
Select the file format of the dashboard attachment.
The available options are PDF, PNG, CSV Zip.
Select the delivery schedule.
The delivery schedule lets you schedule the delivery every
Day
,Week
,Month
orYear
at the specified time.- In the Advanced Options section, select the format option and the page layout.
- To send a test email, click Send Test.
- To save the schedule, click Apply.
Note
By default, CDP sets the timezone as the tenant timezone.
