Does ‘Quick edit’ work with the Layout canvas field?

Not yet. Quick edit will not be shown for the Layout canvas content. We are currently researching into how to make this possible.

The ‘Quick edit’ feature allows editors to change the content of Drupal fields from the front-end of the website.

Unfortunately ‘Quick edit’ doesn’t work with the Layout canvas yet because it can’t deal with the variety of content that can be added to one.

We are actively researching into possibilities for using ‘Quick edit’ and will hopefully have a solution.
