Search Engine Optimization
(SEO) highlights opportunities that exist across website pages and assigns a priority level to the issues. In the platform, you can click any issue for a summary of the recommendation.
This document provides information about the SEO issues found by the scan, sorted by the type of issue.
Navigation
- Log in to your Web Governance account.
- Select the domain that you want to work with.
- Expand the left menu bar if the options are not visible.
- Click Site

Landing page
The dashboard has these elements:
- An Export button
- A filter for Labels, Languages, or Contains
- A Search field
- Table columns:
- Title and URL
- Notifications
- Priority
- Views
- Row buttons:
- Open page details button
- Inspect page with browser extension
User actions
You can do these actions on the page:
- Export: Click Export (a download icon) at the top of the page. For more information, read How to do an export.
- Filter: Click the Filter icon in the table header and select a filter option:
- Labels: Click and select the label to filter for. For instructions on how to create a label, read Create, manage, and apply labels.
- Languages: Click and select the language to filter for.
- Contains: Click and select SEO issues.
- Search: Type a search string into the search text box to locate a specific page title or URL.
- Table columns:
- Title and URL: Click the arrow to sort the column ascending or descending. Click the link to navigate to the SEO view for this page.
- Edit labels: Click in the labels area to manage labels for the selected page. For instructions on how to create a label, read Create, manage, and apply labels.
- Notifications: Click the arrow to sort the column ascending or descending. Click the number for a tooltip that shows the number of SEO issues on the page.
- Priority: Click the arrow to sort the column ascending or descending.
- Views: Click the arrow to sort the column ascending or descending.
- Row buttons:
- Open page details: Click the icon to navigate to the page view that contains this issue.
